Dancing Merengue to a fast Samba, lots of people have told me “That’s not Merengue, the dance is but the song is not” and I answer sometime DJ’s don’t carry Merengues their repertoir and anything with a fast beat they think is Merengue, so as an instructor you just dance to the best of your ability. As Andy Montañez puts it “Conmigo no hay turulete, al son que me tocan bailo”

    Yes Everybody!!! …
    Yes Everybody!!! the song is not “La Banda Gorda” or “Oro Solido” Nor “Elvis Crespo” it’s one and only type music they play in the ship. The ship comes from Italy so we can’t ask for better. We just have to dance to what ever they play. As “El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico” Said once “Conmigo no hay turulete, al son que me tocan bailo”

    Yes it is!! and as you can notice we are in cruiser and that’s the only music they had. Since all I want to do is have fun, I thought “Let me do merengue to this Caribean music” I had to improvise
