South Miami Beach Rumberos – Merengue
09 May 2010
Look what I happened to found… Percussionists playing! And guess what…. I DON”T EVEN HAVE MY INSTRUMENTS WITH ME!!! :-/ Solution..? Well look, there’s 4 CONGAS, 2 DJEMBE’S, A GUIRA, AND EVEN A CAMPANA (cowbell) so I was bound to play with them heheheheh. I got real lucky to run into these players… The Merengue rhythm, derived from Dominican Republic, is well presented here. This I don’t know too well, but like many fine musicians out there, I caught on. This is the easiest to dance to as well. Enjoy this outtake special in High Definition ![]()
